Parliament has urged the Government to urgently revisit its relationship with the US-based rights group Human Rights Watch (HRW) over what it described as “continued deliberate false” reports on Rwanda. In July, the US-based organisation released a report in which it named citizens who had allegedly been executed by Rwandan security organs over petty thefty, but the National Commission for Human Rights later established that seven of the alleged victims were actually alive, while others had died of natural causes or accidents.
