The Evangelical Restoration Church in Remera on Sunday marked seven years of existence with celebrations that will be marked by a week of worship and several activities.

The celebrations which took place at Remera church attracted members from other Evangelical Restoration churches, including Kimisagara and Kacyiru, among others.

Addressing journalists, Apostle Yoshua Masasu, the founder and general overseer of the church, said the day was special based on what they had achieved so far.

“The church has grown from less than 100 to over 3,000 followers,” Masasu said, adding that “we requested for land to build a church and the Government has given it to us.”

He said that besides the church premises, they have plans of engaging in other activities beneficial to the community.

“We are working on a plan to build a church with a big conference hall that is big enough to accommodate over 4000 people. We also plan to construct a secondary school,” said Masasu.

He noted that all what has been achieved was done  through faith, urging Rwandans to have faith and trust no one other than God to achieve their aspirations.

According to the Apostle, the Evangelical Restoration Church is established in over 50 parishes in Rwanda with three churches in Kigali.
