EMMANUEL Ruterana had himself to blame for failing to make the cut after the second round of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour Kampala leg.
Just like on day one, Ruterana returned 74 to accumulate 148, two strokes shy of the cut.
After a birdie on the eighth hole, the 27-year-old lost his cool as he shot bogeys on the 10th, 11th and 15th hole.
“I have only myself to blame for failing to make the cut. My course management was very poor,” he conceded.
It was however not all gloom for Rwanda as Jean Baptist Hakizimana sneaked through. The golfer played 145 over two days, one stroke clear of the cut mark (146).
Kenya’s Dismas Indiza heads into today’s third round on top of the leader board with 139.
The overall winner is expected to pocket Rwf1.3m while the other 19 will share Rwf7.6m.
