FOR Masantula, the sky is the limit, as he seems ready and determined to become a successful journalist and songwriter.

With his four years of experience as a radio presenter on the University Radio, SALUS, Emmauel Ruziga, a.k.a Masantula has played a remarkable role to improve the image of his talk show programme ‘Ongea na Radio Salus’, hence earning popularity from wider audiences.

Concentration at work

Watching the FIFA 2010 World Cup game, while designing some events for his radio programme, Masantula was seriously concentrating on his work.

His utmost concentration surprised the journalist (author of the story), who wanted to know more about his work.
“Yes, I draw and design cartoons and some other images, but I also write poems and songs for artists,” Masantula said.

The budding songwriter has also written songs for prominent local artists, including Liza Kamikazi’s single ‘Usiniache Babe’, as well as Tom Close’s track ‘Mbwira yego.’
