I have diligently followed the case of Peter Carl Erlinder and his denial theories about the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. By no means can he and his group of deniers utter such theories in Rwanda and think they will escape the law lightly.
The fact that they are peddling lies and conspiracy about Rwanda elsewhere in the world, does not mean that they will do the same in Rwanda—breaking the law against genocide denial is a serious matter.
Anyone who denies or defends genocide is insane and a failure who belongs behind bars. If such people are left to do as they please, it would be no surprise to see Rwanda divided again.
Thankfully Rwanda is way past that and there is no room for genocide deniers who want to take the currently healing and succeeding Rwanda back to the pre-genocide era.
