MTN and Coca Cola have teamed up in a bid to bring the 2010 World Cup finals nearer to local football fans.

In Kigali, the viewer parks will be stationed at Amahoro and Nyamirambo’s Regional stadium. To access the facilities, fans will be required to buy a bottle of Coca Cola at Rwf250.

MTN CEO Khaled Mikkawi said, “This is the biggest sporting event to ever come to Africa so we want everyone in Rwanda to get an opportunity to experience and feel the World Cup excitement.”

Bralirwa’s Commercial Director Alexander Koch supplemented, “It is just a sign of gratitude to the companies’ loyal customers.”

World Cup promotion trucks will also traverse the country screening games in Rusizi, Musanze, Huye, Karongi, Rubavu and Nyagatare.
