BK counter drops to Rwf279

Bank of Kigali shed Rwf1 to close at Rwf279 from Friday’s close of Rwf280. The counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf474,300 from 1,700 shares traded in one deal, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Monday indicates.

The decline led to 0.25 points in the RSE Share Index to close at 145.73 points, while All Share Index was down 0.03 points, closing at 130.47 points, according to the report.

 

The Bralirwa counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf1.04 million from 6,000 shares traded in two deals. The brewer closed at Rwf174, unchanged from the trading session.

 

Crystal Telecom was also constant to close at Rwf90 yesterday. The firm realised a total turnover of Rwf243,000 from 2,700 shares traded in two deals.

 

Equity Bank closed at Rwf334, NMG was at Rwf1200; KCB at Rwf330, while Uchumi Supermarkets closed at Rwf104.

Bank of Kigali received outstanding offers of 181,900 shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf290, but investors were willing to buy 72,200 shares at Rwf260.

On the Bralirwa counter, there was an outstanding offer of 4,400 shares at Rwf174 and a bid for 480,000 shares at Rwf163.

Crystal Telecom got outstanding offers of 177,100 shares at between Rwf90 and Rwf98, but there were no buyers.

On the KCB counter there was an outstanding offer of 9,700 shares at Rwf340 and no bids.

On the bond market, there were outstanding bids for Rwf51.1 million worth of bonds ranging from Rwf100-Rwf104, and holders were ready to exchange 50 million TBs at a slightly higher price of Rwf105.
