CANADA-BASED Rwandan artist/model Frank Rukundo has released a new track ‘Kipenda Roho’ featuring Kenya based Burundian artist Kidumu.
“I’m so excited about my new single, and honoured to have featured my African music idol from Burundi, Kidumu,” Frankie Joe said.
‘Kipenda Roho’ track is composed in four East African languages Kinyarwanda, Luganda, Kirundi, and Swahili with Zouk and Groovie rhythms.
Rukundo, a.k.a Franky Joe, said the track was produced in February 2010, by Robert Kamanzi, alias R-Kay, a talented Rwandan producer based in Nairobi.
“My album is ready and I am hoping to do the launch in October or December 2010,” he added.
Last week, Franky Joe performed at a concert dubbed ‘Booty Fest’, in Canada, which attracted many people, including Rwandans living in Canada.
