Should Sosthene Habimana’s side win today, it will be two wins in a row following a hard fought 1-0 victory over Rwamagana City on Saturday courtesy of Burundian Pierro Kwizera’s strike.

“What we need to have is momentum and a win against Bugesera would be a major boost because they are a strong side but I am convinced we can overcame them,” Habimana told Times Sport on Monday.

However, Bugesera head coach Ali Bizimungu, a former Rayon Sports tactician, said his team will travel to Muhanga looking for victory, “We’re not afraid of any challenge, so we are determined to win.”

Elsewhere, Eric Nshimiyimana’s AS Kigali host Abdul Bizimana’s Amagaju FC at Mumena Stadium hoping to maintain their place at the top of the table.

AS Kigali top the table with 15 points, one ahead of defending champions APR FC and two more than SC Kiyovu and Police, who are third and fourth, respectively. Rayon Sports are in 6th with 12 points while Bugesera FC are 14th with six points, two above the relegation zone.
