Rwanda international Anne Marie Ibangarye scored a hat-trick as leaders AS Kigali routed Rambura 7-1 in the national women football league on Saturday at Kicukiro Stadium.

Liberta Nibagwire added two with Marie Claire Uwamahoro and Saida Ntagisanimana contributing one goal apiece to make it seven straight wins for six-time reigning champions.

Speaking to Times Sport in a phone interview on Sunday, AS Kigali coach Grace Nyinawumuntu praised her youthful side for the strong mentality and determination.
