Last year’s league first runners-up Kamonyi who won 2-0 over Rambura on Sunday, needed to win on Tuesday in a bid to exert pressure on league leaders and reigning champions AS Kigali, but Les Lionnes upset their ambition, according to Kamonyi coach Emmanuel Habiyambere. Elsewhere, league new entrants of Nyagatare notched their second consecutive win beating Freedom 2-0 two days after winning 2-1 over Bugesera. Inyemera who lost 3-0 to AS Kigali on Sunday bounced to rout Rambura 3-0.
