Afro-soul singer Mani Martin seems to have recovered from the freak toothpick incident he suffered last year with new resolve.

The talented vocalist has released a new song entitled, Valentino, which he says is a call for lovers to keep their friendships warm every single day.

Speaking to The New Times, the Urukumbuzi star said his brand new track is modeled after his fans’ wishes.

“After the release of My Destiny, which is my first English song, my fans appreciated my initiative of singing in English and asked for more. So I am giving them what they want” said Mani Martin, 27.

A blend of Afrobeat and R&B, Valentino is a song which Mani Martin admits is what his fans have repeatedly asked for.

Valentino is one of the singles which comprise Mani Martin‘s fifth album that he expects to be a success in the country and abroad.

“My fifth album is being finalised in France and will probably come out this year,” said the singer. “I hope music lovers will love it especially since it appeals to both local and international market.”

His fame has crossed the borders of Rwanda thanks largely to his collaborations with regional and international artistes.
