Dear readers, The world has become a different place and nowadays all women have an image of the other woman in their heads: the calculating predator that moves in on married men. For most, the idea of borrowing or stealing another woman’s man is unthinkable. Why does she do it? Does she want to get caught? How does it feel to be her? Full confession: Read the main story on pages 16 and 17 of a lady who was once the other woman. As a nation, we are consistently called upon to be self-sufficient through innovative start-up businesses and one woman took that calling seriously. Jessie Umutoni Kalisa is an ambitious entrepreneur who decided to start a business that was non-existent in Rwanda. Her efforts are slowly paying off as she reveals in this week’s profile on page 18. Our resident doctor looks into the issue of memory loss that is commonly referred to as, dementia. As one woman asks why she is increasingly becoming forgetful, the doctor offers solutions that could help reverse her condition or better still know how to manage it. Read her medical advice on page 19. Wouldn’t any woman be enraged if her husband or boyfriend explicitly confessed to finding other women hotter than her? Our counselor tackles the issue of a man who is attracted to his boss and is not ashamed to say it to his lady. Pages 14 and 15 offer advice from a professional and other people. Lastly, Isombe is common delicacy in Rwanda and neighbouring countries such as Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo.
