I am pleased that Riviera High School has taken urgent action as soon as three cases of the influenza A, H1N1 (Swine Flu), were confirmed among the students.
This kind of quick and decisive action by the school authorities will surely keep the infection rates among the students at a minimum.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Ministry of Health for fighting this virus a priority in Rwanda. This kind of drive is evidenced by the fact that very few fatalities were registered in this country.
I pray that the students who have contracted the virus recover swiftly enough to begin the new term with their schoolmates.
