Christopher leaves Kina Music
Renowned RnB singer Christopher might be heading out of music powerhouse Kina Music after four years with the studio. Our snoops tell us that Christopher’s contract expired two months ago and it has not been renewed yet.
Under the management of Kina Music and manager Clement, Christopher managed to climb to the high levels of Rwandan music and even participated in the just concluded Primus Guma Guma season 4 where he came in fourth place.
According to our scouts, the delay in negotiating for another contract came after Christopher wasn’t happy with the quality of pictures that were produced for his song, Agatima, which was shot in Kenya. Since then, he asked the studio not to distribute the video and decided to redo it.
This did not go down well with his manager who says that he had spent a lot of money shooting the first video in Kenya. Their relationship has since turned sour and it remains to be seen what will come out of it.
Is Miss Tanzania Rwandan?
As far as beauty pageants go, Tanzania has had a rough year. Barely a week after the crowned Miss Tanzania, Miss Sitti Abbas Mtevu resigned amid allegations of lying about her actual age, the first runner up, Lilian Kamazima, is also under pressure to resign.
According to our snoops, Lilian Kamazima took over the crown by virtue of her position as the first runner up but she is now said to be of Rwandan descent although she grew up in Tanzania.
Our scouts continue to tell us that although the organising committee denies these rumours, saying that she was thoroughly vented, people are still adamant to accept, with some claiming that the only thing Tanzanian about her are her relatives who inter-married. Whether she stays with the crown is something that remains to be seen.
Jay Polly, Nizzo feud with Danny Nanone
It seems Danny Nanone is up against some supernatural powers that continue to derail his career. Last month, he produced a nice song together with upcoming RnB artiste Aime Muvunyi but has since refused to credit him for his efforts in singing the chorus, which has made the song a popular hit.
According to our scouts, after cutting him out of the video, hip hop sensation Jay Polly and Urban Boyz’ Nizzo have decided to take Aime under their care as they continue to persuade Danny Nanone to credit him and also shoot another video where Aime will appear.
Our scouts continue to tell us that Danny Nanone, who is currently signed under Incredible Records, was also persuaded by Bernard Bagyenzi, owner and manager of the studio, but Danny refused. Now, the celebrated artistes have called for a boycott of Danny’s songs until he credits Aime for his efforts.
