TIG is the way forward

Editor, I think that the person who came up with TIG was a genius. In fact, I don’t understand why this model of punishment is not used all over the world a whole lot more. It doesn’t make any sense to me for someone to be locked up while there is work to be done.

Editor,

I think that the person who came up with TIG was a genius. In fact, I don’t understand why this model of punishment is not used all over the world a whole lot more. It doesn’t make any sense to me for someone to be locked up while there is work to be done.

I mean, as long as we have roads to build, terraces to dig and schools to build it doesn’t make sense to have part of our work force sitting around doing nothing.

In fact, I wish that TIG was implemented across board so that instead of doing jail time, someone convicted of a certain crime has to do a certain amount of hours of community service.

That way, the person who has wronged the community gives back to the community. I think the Ministry of Justice should look into it.
