“Each club taking part in the tournament has been given the money to facilitate for their transport, meals and other necessities from the preliminary round up to the final game,” Nsabimana said.
Defending champion Atraco started the defense of their title with a slim 1-0 away to Aspor on Wednesday. Former Kiyovu and APR midfielder Jabir Mutarambirwa scored the lone goal.
Rivals APR defeated Zebres 2-0 away in Byumba. Rodriques Murengezi and Hegman Ngoma scored for Erik Paske’s side.
