The Equity MarketYesterday no transactions were recorded on the Rwanda OTC market. Wednesday, 9th December 2009, on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) a total of 14 355, 400 shares were traded. KCB shares traded between Ksh20.25 (Rwf153.29) and Ksh19.80 (Rfw149.88) to close flat at Ksh20.00 (Rfw151. 40). The NSE all share indexes closed up 0.64 points to close at 69.83. Dar-es-Salaam Stock Exchange and Uganda Securities Exchange did not trade KCB shares. The Bond MarketNo transaction was recorded on ROTC market. At the close of the business, Rwf2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf2 billion and Rwf5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.
