NYABIHU — The chairman of Rwanda Demobilisation and Reintegration Commission (RDRC) Jean Sayinzoga, has urged ex-combatants in the country to work hard to fight poverty in their families. Sayinzoga was last week addressing over 80 former soldiers attending 5-day entrepreneurship training in Nyabihu district.

The training targeted beneficiaries of funds from the Community Based Reintegration (CBR) programme.

“You are supposed to work hard to achieve development,” he said, adding that RDRC is fully committed to improving the livelihood of the ex-combatants and their families.

On his part, Frank Kobucyeye, the Nyabihu vice mayor in charge of Economic Affairs, appealed to ex-soldiers to adhere to government policies.
