KCC won by two wickets
KIGALI Cricket Club (KCC) and Challengers attained vital wins on Sunday to ensure that they remained on course for the lucrative Utexrwa Cup.
KCC, who dominated local cricket between 2003 and 2007 beat Indorwa by two wickets. Chasing 148, KCC sailed home in the 18th over after good knocks from Kawa Nadeem (42) and Imran Moulana (24).
It was their second win of the tournament and kept them firm at the top of the table. Indorwa’s all-rounder Subashish Samaly cantered 75 but it was all in vain.
Earlier in the day, Challengers crushed Right Guards by 72 runs to post their first win of the twenty-over tournament.

Robert Mugisha top scored for Guards with 20runs. The defeat keeps Guards at the foot of the table.
