U-20 2011 World Cup qualifier
Uganda v Rwanda
THE coach of the national junior women football team Grace Nyinawumuntu has trimmed down her squad to 23 ahead of this week’s residential training at St.Paul Recreation Centre.
The squad that has been undergoing non-residential training for the last eight days is preparing for this month’s U-20 Women 2011 World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
Nyinawumuntu announced the 23-man squad after yesterday’s training session at Nyamirambo’s Regional stadium. She is also optimistic about Rwanda’s chances.
“I think the players have the technical ability. They are maybe short on experience but we know that comes with more games. We are now working on our tactical approach,” said Nyinawumuntu.
She is being assisted by Innocent Seninga while Andreas Spier is the technical advisor.
