What to get him this Christmas

Men are always the hardest to shop for; with all the gifts given to them over the years, a husband or boyfriend is probably at the top of the list this year. If you’re wondering how to choose the perfect Christmas gifts for a husband or boyfriend this year, try any of the following.

Men are always the hardest to shop for; with all the gifts given to them over the years, a husband or boyfriend is probably at the top of the list this year. If you’re wondering how to choose the perfect Christmas gifts for a husband or boyfriend this year, try any of these:

Clothing gifts

Let’s face it, men just don’t like spending money on clothes as much as women do. Even if it may seem somewhat obvious, picking up a few new things for your husband to wear makes a great Christmas present. Whether it’s a new shirt to help him look sharp at work or a cozy scarf or sweater for the weekends.

Pampering gifts

“Even though they’ll never admit it, men love to be pampered too,” says Francine Urugwiro who has been married for three years now.

“You would silently put a smile on your man’s face if you got him a soft bedtime robe, his favourite shaving kit or even a men’s perfume,” she says.

She added that it’s wise to give him a gift he will use for a while.

Sports and adventure gifts

Spot out the football team that your man likes. Look through his wardrobe and check out for the jersey color that he doesn’t have. Surprise him with it and he will jump like never before. But just before you do this, remember to make sure he is a staunch football fan, if not, get his a baseball or basketball shirt that suits him.

Cocktail gifts

Men like to have that extra “edge” whenever they’re doing anything, and bartending is no exception. Make his Christmas special with bar accessories he’ll feel proud of, whether it’s a handsome bottle opener set or a new set of shot glasses to impress his friends.

Gifts for his hobbies

Robbin Mukiza says his wife gave him one of the best gifts he had ever gotten by choosing from his hobbies.

“We used to go to my best friends to play monopoly all the time; I loved it because I would spend time with my friend and my wife at the same time. Close to Christmas last year, my wife got me a monopoly game and it’s kept me home and enjoying with many friends,” he says.

Mukiza confesses that he can’t wait for this year’s gift and that the monopoly board he got this year has given him great memories.
