RnB with a touch of hiphop

Song: Rejoice

Artiste: Ray Blaze Feat Knowless

Rejoice, like the title of the song suggests, is a party song, celebrating alleviation, hard-work and good times taking over hard times. The English/Kinyarwanda song was originally done by Blaze who later remixed it with Knowless. It starts with Knowless singing in Kinyarwanda and later switching to English.

Later in the song, Ray Blaze, a Belgium based Nigerian born musician, raps in English sprinkled with a Nigerian accent. People say a lot of bad things about me, but that doesn’t stop me from going right ahead and working hard to achieve my goals.

Thanks to my family, sister, brothers, Mum and Dad for the precious advice you gave me, I’m using that advice as a light torch and source of courage to lounge ahead, go some of the lyrics. Once again the local R’n’B princess has proved that she is more than just a pretty face. Her domination in this track is proof that her vocal aptitude and confidence are growing as time goes by.
