Live Bands

The weekend begins on a high for live band lovers with options from Greenwich hotel along Airport Road hosting Rumba band, La Diagonale de Larumba from Friday through to Sunday. Serena hotel as they always do on Friday will have Francois Chuchu’s band by the pool side to dance the November cold away.

Saturday and Sunday night at Milles Collines have been claimed by Sound Of Hills, a band that plays renditions to popular jazz, RnB, and Soul and once in a while throw in a track from their oncoming album.

Cinema


At the cinema, Thor 2 premiers this weekend, other movies showing include, Gravity, This Is The End and The Conjuring. Tickets for 3D are at Rwf 4500 and 2D tickets are at Rwf 3500

Comedy Night

On Saturday night at Serena Hotel, Comedian Arthur Nkusi populary known from his radio show at KFM and appearance at Comedy Knight will host a one hour show with performances by popular Afro-soul artiste Manni  Martin and a host of other comedians. Entrance is Rwf 5000 with performances beginning at 7pm.

Night clubs


Those in the party mood can let loose at K-club on Hot Fridays and Turn Up Saturdays playing the best of dance-hall and reggae, entrance is Rwf 5000 for regular and Rwf10000 for VIP.

Club papyrus at the restaurant’s ground floor is also an ideal place for anyone in the dancing mood. Sundowner and Ogopogo, a stone throw away from Papyrus, are ideal spots for grown folks who would like to have a drink as they chat.
