She hasn’t been seen with her husband Will Smith in two months.
And with rumours stirring of an impending split, Jada Pinkett fuelled the fire even more on Monday night, as she attended the Make Equality Reality event at West Hollywood’s Montage Hotel.
Though the 42-year-old actress made eyes turn with her funky new hairdo, she made an even bolder statement by leaving her wedding ring at home.
Last week, RadarOnline reported that Jada and her 45-year-old husband of 15 years are on rocky ground, with the two living separate lives.
Will has been in New Orleans filming ‘Focus’ since September and is scheduled to stay there until November.
The power couple have not been photographed together since they were in New York City with their children on August 23. And Jada has issued a few strange statements lately.
On October 23, she told the audience at the Associated Black Charities of Baltimore Girls’ Night Out Event, ‘When you are going through a storm with your spouse... stop thinking about what you “believe” a husband or wife should be.’
‘I thought success would make me happy … It does not,’ Jada also reportedly said.
Pinkett says she would only ‘abandon’ Will ‘if he did something bad to the kids’
Jada Pinkett Smith has found her happy place in marriage, motherhood and with her career. The confident mother-of-two says despite rumors of a troubled marriage, the devotion and happiness between her and husband Will Smith, 44, is no illusion. “What is the thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can’t think of one,” she says. “I’m sorry.” Not so fast.
Like any protective mother, the former “Hawthorne” actress does in fact have one reason she’d cut ties with Smith after 15-years of marriage.
“Except if he did something bad to the kids,” she adds. “Now we’ve got a problem.”
