If you are a gospel music fan you’ve probably heard the song Tuli Bapya ( we are brand new) by the Ambassadors of Christ choir. The five minute song is dripping with messages of hope; it’s also a tribute to fallen choir members.

Like in most of their songs, in Tuli Bapya their voices are soul caressing and refreshing, even for those who don’t listen to local gospel music. Listening to this song can make them change their mind. The voices are accompanied by light instruments like the keyboard and drums.

In the song they admit how they almost gave up doing God’s work when they got involved in a tragic accident on one of their trips in Tanzania. “We nearly laid down our Bibles and called it quits, Satan almost won over. But God good refused to give up on us, he came and filled us with courage, now we are strong again and we are continuing the journey,” goes the lyrics in the song that is sung in Luganda.
