Joey BlakeRaised in a family of musicians and gospel singers, the multi-talented Blake is a singer, producer, recording engineer, instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, percussion), composer, dancer, teacher and choir director. His classical and vocal jazz studies developed his deeply resonant and expressive bass vocals. Joey has recorded and produced five CDs with his other ensemble, SoVoSo, which spun from Voicestra. His discography includes recordings with McFerrin, Kenny Loggins, Mickey Hart and others, and he has released 3 solo CDs.

Nicole Musoni

The eldest daughter of the popular Rwandan artist Évariste Musoni was barely 2 years old when she set foot on stage for the first time; accompanying her father to the mythic Odéon Palace auditorium in Bujumbura. She and her family moved to Canada 23 years ago but her roots are deeply embedded in East African soil, with inspiration from R&B, pop, soul and funk. Her acoustic, authentic and vulnerable style brings a unique emotion, passion and style to her artistry.

Maia von Lekow (Kenya)

Maia brings a dynamic new colour to Kenya’s contemporary musical landscape. Born and raised in Nairobi to a German/Italian mother and Kenyan father, Maia’s unique heritage is combined into a fresh sound weaving jazz, funk, folk & blues all sprinkled with swahili spice. A traveller at heart, Maia has lived and performed in Berlin, Melbourne & Dublin.  Since returning to Kenya in 2007, Maia has established her current live act, a high-energy 6-piece band that has been making waves throughout East Africa.

Tony Osanah

The multi-instrumentalist Tony OSANAH is an Argentine of Calchaqui origin who, in 1966 moved to Sao Paolo (Brazil) with the group “Beat Boys”. In 1976 he co-organised Joe Cocker’s Brazilian tour, and two years later toured with his own Blues Band through the U.S.A. Tony Osanah performed with B.B. King, went on a world tour with the legendary Blues singer Jeannie Carrol and studied Indian music. He gave concerts with famous South American musicians like Gilberto Gil, Roberto Carlos, Raul Seixas, Walter Franco, Tim Maia und Caetano Veloso. Multi-talent Tony Osanah plays the guitar, bass, kalimba, sitar, flutes and harmonica.
