A convenient lock on the door is quite advisable to protect your little kids from going out without being watched. If the kids are grown enough then they can always know how to unlock it.

Vanessa Kaitesi, a mother to three, says a peephole is a must have for a home more so in the world today where both parents work.
“Kids will always open the door at a knock. And it’s not always that an elder is there to watch the door. It’s very important to know who is on the other side before opening,” Kaitesi says.
A dining room without a TV
Kids, eating and TV don’t mix at all. And children are always looking for distraction when eating. It is advisable to keep the TV far away for the kids to have a healthy appetite.
This is a generation where a computer is like a pen. Getting your kids used to it at a tender age is an added advantage.
