Many years ago, in a home just like yours, Lived a little girl, Naomi was her name; she was very pretty and happy. One day Naomi went with her mother for shopping and they bought a beautiful bracelet.
The bracelet did not cost a lot but it was a very special one with colours of green, red and blue. It also had hung lovely ornaments.
The bracelet also had a lamb, a heart, a cross and a dove. Naomi loved this little bracelet a lot; it looked so pretty on her wrist.
She loved it so much that from morning till night, it was always in her hands, but a sad day came when she was playing around and lost it.
Mummy, Mummy!” cried the little child, “My bracelet is gone, nowhere to be found!” the mother to Naomi was gentle, loving and kind.
“Do not fear, dear child, you will find it in time. God knows you love it, and miss it even more. He knows where it is, somewhere on the floor.”
“Mummy, Mummy, that is fine, but I want it now! It is mine!” “It is not yours, for all things are God’s. You will have it if it is GOD’S WILL.”
Days and weeks passed by and by and Naomi no longer cried. Weeks to months, and months to years also passed.
Naomi grew up, and had a family of her own in the very same house that was always her home.
Naomi had a daughter and her name was Ruth. She was young and cute with one missing tooth. Ruth was always playing around and one day behind the old couch, what do you think she found?
A bracelet! It’s true! With colors of red, green and blue! It had Trinkets, a lamb, a heart, a cross, a dove! She picked up the bracelet and fell so in love! “Mother, Mother! Come and see!
I have a bracelet!” She shouted with glee. Naomi looked on, and in her surprise, she thought of her own mother, so kind and so wise.
All things are God’s, for all things He made. Naomi said, “Thank you, Lord, for letting me lose my toy, to see my daughter having it, is greater joy!
