The development was announced by Trump on Tuesday, November 24, according to media reports. The General Services Administration (GSA) has also announced that it was acknowledging Biden as the ‘apparent winner’ after his victory in the state of Michigan was ratified on Monday, November 23. This means that the president-elect will immediately be granted access to top security briefings, office space and government officials as he prepares to take office next year, January 20. A statement from the president elect’s team indicates that Biden will begin to appoint candidates for top jobs in the incoming cabinet.
