Yvan Dushime Burabyo, mostly known by his stage name Yvan Buravan, is set to perform in DR Congo during the Red One Festival this Saturday.

The festival is happening for the fourth time, having been held in the country before.

In the telephone interview, Yvan Buravan told The New Times that he is expected to travel this Friday, ahead of the event at Halle de la Gombe in the capital Kinshasa on July 13.

He said that he is set to share the stage with France-based Congolese Ya Levis, who was one the main headliners for the Sounds of Summer 2019, at the Intare Conference and Events Arena in Kigali, on June 28.

Buravan promised a memorable experience to festival goers come Saturday.

“My people in Kinshasa, we are coming! We’re coming with whatever we have, and you are going to have an amazing experience... enjoying Rwandan music as it is the first time I’ll be performing for you. Come ready to have fun!’’ he said.
