Rwandan deejay-cum-singer, Pius Rickie Rukabuza, on Thursday, October 22, released the remix of his song Ubushyuhe, featuring R&B star Bruce Melody.

Both the audio and video were released at midday, featuring Uganda’s A Pass, real name Alexander Bagonza, Tanzanian rapper Rosa Ree, as well as Rwandan singer Marina.

Speaking to The New Times, DJ Pius said the song is part of his strategy to take the song outside of Rwanda, adding that those particular artistes were selected out of a number of artistes, fit for the song.

“A number of artistes had requested for a remix of the song so I sent out an instrumental to random artistes, and those three turned out to be best with their input,” he said.

The dancehall song is expected to make a hit on the music scene as people have already started commenting on the song.
