Its Valentine’s Day and, lovebirds are getting ready to celebrate their love and planning the perfect date for their loved ones. Whether you are looking for a romantic night or something to do, a table for one or for two, Kigali’s nightlife has something for you on Valentine’s Day.

Meet & Mingle


On both February 11 and February 14, Kigali Marriott Hotel has been hosting its Meet and Mingle party, at Iriba Bar & Terrace, where people get a chance to meet their potential Valentine’s Day date. The party goes on till today, where you will get to enjoy special cocktails starting at Rwf4,000 from 6pm-8pm.




Nigeria’s comedians Aki and Pawpaw are in town where they will, this evening, be staging a live comedy show, alongside Rwanda’s finest comedians, Babu Joe, Joshua, Clapton Kibonke, Mr Fyoo and Uncle Austin as you celebrate Valentine’s Day. The event will take place at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (Camp Kigali)

Dine with Charly na Nina at The Retreat

Rwanda’s music duo Charly and Nina will today have an exclusive performance as guests enjoy an elegant dinner at Fusion, The Retreat’s new restaurant, starting from 6pm to 11am.

Silent Disco

For all the party animals and silent disco fans out there, one of the best date ideas is to head to Pacha Club Kimironko to drink, dance, and just enjoy the night life with some of the top Djs in town.It will feature DJ Sisqo, DJ Anita, DJ Lenzo, DJ Phil Peter and DJ Dialo. It will be hosted by Miss Heritage 2017 Guelda Shimwa. Entrance fee is Rwf5000 (regular), and Rwf10,000 (VIP).
