According to sources, the self-styled “Coga Maestro” will perform in the concert that will feature many local artists, today, August 15, at the School of Finance and Banking (SFB).

Miss SFB, Joan Ingabire, one of the organizers on Wednesday told The New Times that the concert is aimed at fundraising money to aid needy children.

“There’re many children in the country who’re helpless. They live in very poor health conditions, and most of them have no access to education,” Ingabire explained, adding that, “The money collected from the concert will be used to support them.’

A number of Rwandan celebrities will be present during the event, to participate in the supportive act.

Coga, whose real name is Rafiki Mazimpaka, has been an influential RnB artist and he has won many hearts with his Coga Style music.

He has performed alongside international musicians, including Brick and Lace, Sean Paul and Shaggy.

Twice Pam Awards winner, also known for his hit track “Igikosi”, has collaborated with several East African artists, like Tanzania’s Professor Jay and Uganda’s Chameleon.
