Rwanda’s famous vocalist, Intore Massamba, is set to perform during the Afro-Jazz Festival, scheduled to take place on August 16, in Cape Town, South Africa.
The annual music festival will attract 40 African countries.
He has been vibrant in Rwanda’s music industry from the late 80s, maintaining a huge fan base.
Massamba is a traditional blues soloist, and his type of music has garnered him numerous music award nominations and fame.
Massamba’s lyrics are based on the roots of Rwandan culture, and he follows his father’s footsteps, also a renowned traditional artist, Sentore.
His track “Nyeganyega” is awesome.
The singer has performed in numerous local, regional and international music festivals.
Of recent he performed in Switzerland, Denmark and South Africa, during the “One Dollar Campaign”, a humanitarian initiative to assist Genocide orphans with housing.
