The arrest of Pascal Simbikangwa

Editor, I read your article on (Pascal) Simbikangwa. I am surprised that you did not mention that Pascal Simbikangwa is being held in Mayotte on Genocide charges following a complaint for damages made by CPCR (Collectif des Parties Civiles pour le Rwanda), an association that pursues Rwandan genocide suspects living on French soil.

Editor,

I read your article on (Pascal) Simbikangwa. I am surprised that you did not mention that Pascal Simbikangwa is being held in Mayotte on Genocide charges following a complaint for damages made by CPCR (Collectif des Parties Civiles pour le Rwanda), an association that pursues Rwandan genocide suspects living on French soil.

Currently, fifteen Rwandans are being followed up in France, the most recent being Pierre Tegera. Most of them were discovered as a result of our association’s work.

We are preparing several more complaints against alleged killers on French soil. I would recommend you to read a joint press release we issued last week concerning Tengera
Sincerely yours.

Alain Gauthier
President of CPCR.
