Attaining beauty all season round through massage

When someone talks or hears the word ‘beauty’ what comes to mind is a picture of a woman with a spotless, flawless and smooth skin. A skin that has no blemish what soever just like that of Hollywood superstars and celebrities. Never mind the layers of makeup, underneath, there is still an enormous amount of work, money and time invested to look beautiful. Not just face value skin, all body perfect beauty.

According to Judy Kabachi, the Beautician at Essentials Beauty Saloon, beauty is not how expensively you dress and carry yourself around.

She attests that the aura of beauty can be felt anywhere. This is in terms of confidence which comes from a radiant skin and stress free look. Stress she says will create fine lines on anyone’s face especially around the eyes and on the forehead.
“When you are stressed, it shows on your face, no doubt about it,” Kabachi said.

As a result, countless people are trapped in age defying schemes and tactics to combat wrinkles. However, only dealing with the surface area will only hide what’s underneath just for a while longer.

With this new era of technological advancement, after years of scientific research, anyone can have a perfect skin. According to Kabachi, the beauty secret lies in relaxation in the form of massage.

Massage is another art form that takes into account the basic principle of touch as a method of relaxation. This art of touch can either be partial or a full-body massage depending on a client’s need.

“Massage therapy is one of the luxuries that relive people of fatigue and stress especially on busy working days,” Kabachi said. Finding the words to explain the feeling after a massage is difficult but not impossible.

Alex Kamagara, a busy working class man one day decided to go for a massage. This he said was after he heard the wonders that came with it.

“The day I went for a massage, I slept like a baby!” he said.

For Kamagara, his constant struggles running errands for the company he works for had stretched him to a point of no return. The stress had become unbearable. Luckily or unluckily, he is a single dude.

“One adventure led to another. Today every once in a while I go for a massage, and by the way it has to be a lady masseuse otherwise I walk away,” Kamagara assured.

This is just one example of many who have discovered the benefits of a massage. According to Kabachi, the Beautician, every massage is unique in its own way depending on the need of the client.

“People’s needs defer. Some come for massage when they are tired and just want to relax, others want to relieve muscle pain after sports, some clients purely do it for fun,” she said.

All in all, massage can be done daily with no known side effects. The final target lying in the fact that pure pleasure, relaxation, relief and beauty is found. One major challenge, Kabachi said is when some male clients have a wrong perception of the whole massage business.”

There are times when working becomes difficult especially when clients fail to understand that this is a purely professional business,” she said.

To overcome and get along with her job, Judy remains professional no matter what. If clients refuse to understand this simple fact, the only solution according to her, is to show them the door.

In light of all this, Kabachi loves what she does and says that Rwandans still need to appreciate the fact that they have a beauty industry that is still growing.

In full support of this, through marketing and making known the different necessities and benefits that come with massage therapy, just one aspect of beauty is tackled- the art of touch through massage.
