BK can do better

Reference is made to the story, “BK tops in customer satisfaction at 2014 EAC banking awards” (The New Times, May 3).

Bravo to the Bank of Kigali. Despite all the hard work and this deserved honour, I think that BK needs to step up its internet banking system.

We need full online banking services. This will help BK serve their esteemed customers in the best way, reduce pressure on their outlets as most elite group will embark on internet banking than visiting branches. You should please think about this and facilitate your customers.

This internet banking should also be optional for anyone who wants that; it should also be included on the “new account sheet” as it’s done with ATM cards.

I also suggest that you consider offering students services whereby you will not require them to pay a monthly fee to maintain an account. Thank you.
