Rwandan international player, Lawrence Yakan Guma on Friday night helped his Algeria first division side L’Etoile Sportif de Setif to win the first trophy of the season, the Super Cup.

This is ES Setif’s third title after they won the Algerian league in 2010 and the Algerian Cup early this year.

“I am a happy man, but this is just the start, I need to give everything to win more with this team and I hope I will continue to perform well,” Guma told Times Sport by e-mail.

He added, “The season starts next weekend, and with this win over the league champions, we hope it gives more belief that we can actually win the league.”
