Five Rwandan football coaches obtained Level B coaching certificates after undergoing a two-week upgrade course in Koblenz, Germany.
The five, who include two females, left for the course on August 25 and returned on Sunday.
The two female coaches are AS Kigali women’s team head coach Grace Nyinawumuntu and Anne Mbonimpa, who owns a girls’ football training centre in Kicukiro District. The others are Rayon Sports team manager Thierry Hitimana, Hassan Muhire and Mohamed Ntibategwa.
All the five coaches had also earned their Level C status from Germany.
Gasabo FC coach Muhire got his Level C in 2007; AS Kigali’s Nyinawumuntu earned hers in 2009, while Mbonimpa, Hitimana and newly appointed Bugesera FC coach Ntibategwa, all acquired theirs last year.
