After extending its shows to Burundi, one of Rwanda’s biggest events Happy People is now targeting Europe.

“The idea to take the show to Europe had always been there, but the breakthrough was during this year’s summer edition of Happy People at KCT, when a group of Rwandan Diaspora living in Europe expressed their interest in the event,” explained Remy Nsanga De Keyzer, the CEO of Happy People Rwanda.

Nsanga said that the first European edition of Happy People, scheduled for September 14, in Geneva, Switzerland, will feature local R&B singer King James and DJ Karim.

The party will take place at Rue de la Servette 2, 1201 Geneve from 10pm.

Happy People was formed in 2004 by a group of Rwandan professionals to entertain the people living in Rwanda and the Diaspora. The main Happy People event is held on the New Year’s Eve.
