DAR ES SALAAM - With the conclusion of the group games in the on going Cecafa/Kagame cup club championship yesterday, attention now turns to the quarter-finals stage that gets underway tomorrow.

Defending champions APR will be coming against their former coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee when they play Kenya’s Tusker Fc on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam.

Rwanda other representative Rayon Sport takes on Tanzania’s Simba Fc who finished second in group A.

Simba confirmed their top placing in Group A after beating Vital’O from Burundi 1-0 as Tusker of Kenya picked the second slot with a resounding 5-0 victory over Benadir.

Vital’O finished third in the group. Following the completion of the preliminaries, Tuesday’s first pairing of the quarter-finals will see last year’s losing finalists Uganda revenue Authority take on Miembeni from Zanzibar before Simba take on defending champions APR from Rwanda.

Wednesday will see Tusker take on Rayon Sport before Dar es Salaam’s Young Africans play Vital’O.

Miembeni, who caused the shock of the tournament so far by beating favorites APR 2-1 in their opening group game, will be taking on 2007 losing finalists and group B winners URA.
