The up coming local artist Eric Senderi Nzaramba commonly known for his songs about Genocide, is back in the country from his three-month music tour in Europe.

He toured five countries including Spain, Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. He  also hosted concerts in various places in the city of Amsterdam.

“The tour was alright, and I had successful concerts where I went, my music touched many people including two Belgian nationals, who got traumatized in the city of Chalreloi when he watched my music video,” Senderi told The New Times.

Senderi who arrived in Rwanda June 5, 2008 said that he has sold 1523 copies of his music in Europe and hopes to go back for some other projects in future. He said that his music enlightened many Europeans about Rwanda’s 1994 Genocide.

The artist who left March 17, 2008 was sponsored by a local NGO, youth initiatives and a survivors’ association (IBUKA).

A number of people in Europe vowed to support him in his career; John Milliam (Brussels) together with Barbar Van (Amsterdam), will support him in his next Genocide Album.

His songs told a factual story about 1994 Genocide with Intimba y’intore y’Imana literally translated as ‘the sorrow of God’s warrior’, topping the rest of his songs.
