League debutants REG, who top the table standings alongside holders Patriots, boost a number of experienced players such as Kami Kabange, Bienvenu Ngandu and skipper Ali Kazingufu among others and are expected to give Moise Mutokambali’s side a good test ahead of the regional tournament.

US-based Bradley Cameroon returns to the national team roaster after the big forward joined residential camp on Thursday. The 27-year old is the only foreign-based player in camp so far.

Other foreign-based players awaited to join camp are; Patrice Twagirayezu, Dan Manzi and Adonis Rwabigwi, all based in the United States while Kenneth Gasana, who features for Moroccan side L’Ittihad Riadhi de Tanger, remains a doubt.

At the 2015 edition of Zone V tourney held in Kampala, Uganda, Rwanda missed out on the ticket to Afro-Basket finals at hands of Egypt and Uganda.
