Editor, Re: MTN launches MoKash savings, loan service (The New Times Feb 16) This is a new invention where people/subscribers can easily get access to financial services, particularly in situations of emergency. In case one needs medical attention and has no cash, then it’s always an option. Or strike a financial deal for wealth gain, then it becomes the first option. Remember, you can only get money based on your savings. Therefore, it is a win-win kind of scenario for all parties involved. In any case it’s working in other countries in the region, so why not in Rwanda? I see it as an effort towards deepening financial inclusiveness in Rwanda. Let’s embrace it and let the common man/woman take advantage of this new product to improve their livelihood. Bernard Okello
