Kenya is better than this

The story initially sets out to link Ella’s problems to Monique but eventually digress to blame Kenya. The author seems to have malicious intentions; these are isolated incidences of two girls whose prostitution rings have gone awry.

Editor,

RE: “Good friend gone bad; trapped in Kenya’s Nanyuki” (The New Times, January 15).

The story initially sets out to link Ella’s problems to Monique but eventually digress to blame Kenya. The author seems to have malicious intentions; these are isolated incidences of two girls whose prostitution rings have gone awry.

We have many Rwandans here who are thriving both in business and career. And the writer concludes, “...a chance to be helped get back inside Rwanda’s protective boundaries”.

You want to say Kenya is a violent, lawless, hostile and dangerous country? The author should apologize for bad and malicious intentions portrayed in this article.
