Rwanda up 7 places in new World Chess ranking
Rwanda has moved up seven places to number 155 in the latest global country ranking published by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) last month.
Igor Rusa Gontra, 9, of Eagles Chess Club was number four in the less than 15 years category during last year's national youth tournament. FERWADE is looking to enhance kids' talent to ensure the country’s ranking progresses. (Courtesy)
