I’m not usually a fan of the Portuguese maverick, but I had to doff my hat to what he’s accomplished in leading Inter Milan into the Champions League final.
With ten men for almost an hour, he and his team held the Barcelona forwards to just a few attempts on goal. It was heroic defending. While some people will complain about that kind of game, personally I found it quite enthralling.
The way the Inter team organized itself after Tiaggo Motta’s unfair dismissal was legendary. I put my money on Inter beating Bayern Munich in the final next month.
