Prime Minister Bernard Makuza, yesterday, received an envoy from the Ivory Coast, Amb. Dalo Gbouabre ,who is on an official visit to the country.
Speaking to the press, Makuza noted that the official had brought a message from President Laurent Gbagbo to President Paul Kagame.
“We discussed a number of issues pertaining the two countries’ bilateral relations as well as major issues and problems in Africa. As you know, Ivory Coast is a country emerging from war, so we also discussed the effects and solutions.
“As a country fostering peace within the region, it is imperative for us to know how the Ivory Coast is coping in the aftermath of the war. We also use this opportunity to share experiences considering that our country has also undergone more tragic events,” Makuza said.
