By the time the game was stopped, Mukura had found the net twice through Corneille Murwanashaka in the first half.

On Saturday, six-time league champions Rayon Sport were the first to book a place into the quarterfinals after a 4-0 win over their struggling Primus National League rivals Marines.

The Blues under interim coach Emmanuel Ruremesha got their goals through Yusuf Ndayishimiye, Aphrodise Hategikimana. Former Kiyovu and Atraco striker Theoneste Muhayimana netted a brace.
